Our instructor will be starting and ending each day with a Vinyasa yoga session.

Where we’ll go
DAY 1 | Arrive in Paro and drive to Thimphu
DAY 2 | Sightseeing in the Thimphu valley
DAY 3 | Driving tour of the Dochula pass and the Himalayas, arrive in Punakha
DAY 4 | Tour Punakha’s Dzong and monastery, then drive to Paro Valley
DAY 5 | See the ruined fortress of Drugyel, and hike to the Taktsang Tiger’s Nest Monastery
DAY 6 | Return home

Where we’ll stay
IN THIMPHU
In Thimpu, we’ll stay at the Norkhil Boutique Hotel & Spa, a spot in the Himalayan foothills known for its approach to healing and rejuvenation. Services available include massage treatments and spa time, as well as a restaurant with an outdoor terrace and fresh, local ingredients.
IN PUNAKHA
We’ll spend our night in Punaka at the Meri Puensum Resort, a small and quaint hotel offering free breakfast, comfortable beds, and warm hospitality.
IN THE PARO VALLEY
In the Paro Valley, we’ll be hosted by the Khangku Resort, a 3-star hotel where each room has an unobstructed view of the valley. Enjoy free wifi, a bar, spa, and a cafe featuring locally grown coffee and tea..

Featured Trip Leader
Juana Basto is our trip leader for this retreat.
She is a Colombian dancer, yoga instructor, and pilates teacher who has led retreats in locations around the world.
In her instruction, she emphasizes mental clarity, relaxation, and gratitude, letting her students release stress and focus on healing.
Once she’s done leading you through your daily yoga sessions, Juana will be your companion as you explore valleys, visit monasteries, and meet the people of Bhutan.
FAQs
Answer: Not much! When we say this trip is “off the grid,” we mean it.
You’ll be able to charge your device briefly while you’re driven from one location to the next, and we recommend bringing headlamps and a power bank for your camera. Data connections may be available in certain areas, but coverage is generally scarce.
Answer: Yes! Drones are permitted on the island, and the footage will be breathtaking.
Answer: No — we’ll provide your tent and everything needed to make it comfortable.
